Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE) is the main airport in Broward County for business jets and general aviation; it’s conveniently located between I-95 and the Florida Turniplike within an hour’s drive of every major destination in South Florida.

Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International (FLL) can also handle private jet traffic with FBO terminals on the opposite side of the commercial entrance.

North Perry Airport is more focused on general aviation and is home to number flight schools and maintenance facilities.

Pompano Beach Airpark (IATA: PPM, ICAO: KPMP, FAA LID: PMP) – located 12 miles N up I-95, the Pompano Beach Airpark is a small general aviation field ideal for leisure flights on light aircraft such as pistons and turboprops. Due to the runway length under 5,000 feet, private jet charters may not be able to operate at this field, and can be routed to the nearby Boca Raton Airport.

North Perry Airport (IATA: HWO, ICAO: KHWO, FAA LID: HWO) – located 25 miles SW of downtown Fort Lauderdale in the the city of Pembroke Pines, the Hollywood North Perry Airport is a general aviation field catering to private aviation businesses and flight training schools. There are 4 runways available at the airport, however none of them measure more than 3,350 feet, limiting operations to piston and turboprop aircraft.

The airport’s 6,276 foot runway is available for private jets, with a new U.S. Customs office opened in 2018.
